A delicious and healthy way to finish the day!

Spices are some of the most antioxidant foods available to us. All the ingredients (except for the milk and honey) for this tasty, warming beverage rate highly on the ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) scale.Ingredients

Powdered or freshly ground – a pinch of each (or 1/8 teaspoon of your favs)
Cloves
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Ginger
Turmeric
Vanilla bean (or natural essence)
2/3 cup of Milk – (either soy, rice, dairy or goats)
1/3 cup water  1 teaspoon of honey
Adjust fluids and measurements depending on the amount of people you are serving and cup size

Method

Add the spices, vanilla and honey to the combined milk and water in a saucepan and slowly heat until the desired temperature. A dash of whiskey, rum or liqueur could be added for the over 18’s.
