In the past I have written about the great steps we take to ensure that our supplements are the best they can possibly be, which means spending a lot of money on research and development (read previous article here). Today, I want to focus solely on the quality of Lester’s Oil and why buying direct has advantages over traditional retail.
I wrote last time about the importance of HDL cholesterol and the results of our human study demonstrating that Lester’s Oil raised levels of this very important substance, and its associated benefits.
I am writing a series on the results of our Lester’s Oil human trial. As I’ve said over the last couple of weeks, there are literally thousands of supplements sold in New Zealand and you can probably count those with real research on the fingers of one hand.
Unlike virtually all supplements on the market that rely on generic single ingredient formulas, Lester’s Oil is a much more sophisticated multi-oil formula, and to be blunt…I think it’s the best Omega-3 formula available.
Skin. It forms the entire covering of our body and is one of the first things people assess when they meet you (before your eyes and your witty intellect). So it is no surprise that the state of your skin can determine how we feel about ourselves, and there’s no doubt that it’s pretty tough to be “comfortable in your own skin” if you have a skin condition that is causing it to be dry, flaky, scratchy and inflamed.
If you’re lacking motivation and want to shape up for summer – a pedometer and 10,000 steps a day could be the answer you’re looking for.
Research shows that walking 10,000 steps a day can significantly improve your health, assist with weight loss and also help lower blood pressure. If that’s not motivation enough, take a look at all these other health benefits you can gain by walking regularly…
High in anti-inflammatory omega-3, this Chia Seed Pudding recipe can be made ahead of time for convenience, will fill you up on fibre and help you beat the bloat.
We spend a lot of money on research and development and on quality, much more than most people will think. Having spent the money, it seems sensible to explain why we do it.
Over the years I have had reason to lab test other companies products (because of illegal use of our trademarks, some of our customers were misled). A significant percentage of the results (about half) revealed interesting findings. One New Zealand company’s resveratrol supplement actually contained zero resveratrol. Another Res-V Knockoff product we tested did not contain either the amount of resveratrol claimed, or another very expensive ingredient – curcumin (from Turmeric).
If there is one medical word drummed into our heads over the last 25 years it is probably cholesterol. It has been much maligned and we have been well trained to get it as low as possible, most notably by taking pharmaceutical drugs.
High blood pressure (hypertension) is extremely prevalent, I know this because we have huge numbers of customers who have written to us and are on medications for it. No doubt, at the first sign of hypertension your doctor will prescribe medications and many of our customers ask me if there are alternatives because they hate the idea of being on drugs for the rest of their lives. It’s not my job to give personal medical advice, but I certainly can give you some general advice from my own experience.
